Description

The basic aim of the work described in the thesis was to assess the viability of calcium sulphide phosphors for commercial use, and consisted of preliminary work in two main areas: electroluminescence -for application in panels and displays, and thermoluminescence - for dosimetry properties whereby the phosphor is used to measure radiation.
