Electric relaxation of glasses of the system Na2O-B2O3-SiO2

Description

Systematic investigations of the electric properties of four glasses of the system Na2O-B2O3-SiO2 with different phase separation are reported. The evaluation by means of the electrical modulus shows that all glasses have asymmetric M''-curves and a distribution of relaxation times. The activation energies for the dc conductivity and the relaxation process can be related to each glass, because of the same type of charge carriers. (author)
