Tritium measurement techniques
Creators
Description
Presented are modern tritium measurement techniques in different media. Considered are questions concerning selection of samples (from the atmospheric air, water, soils, biological samples) and their preparation for the analysis. Presented are comparative characteristics of tritium measurement radiometric methods characterizing in usage of various radiation detectors and also the methods having limit application or being worked out (mass spectrometry, using avalanche-type semiconductor detectors, bremsstrahlung radiation measurement, electron multiplier application, film dosimetry, calorimetry, thermal exoelectron emission). Error estimation has been carried out
