Achievements in the extraction chemistry of TPE during the period between the conferences (1983-1988)

A brief review of investigations on TPE extraction, carried out in the period of 1983-1988, is presented. In the studies special attention is paid to the use of bidentate organic phosphorus extractants. On the basis of the experiments new flowsheets for TPE extraction from refined products of radiochemical technique - TRUEX (nitric acid and hydrochloric acid media), TESEO were developed. Studies on the use of tridentate extractants, synergistic extraction, TPE extraction from alkali media, are also mentioned
