Description
Results are presented from the first 80 days live-time in the Irvine-Michigan-Brookhaven proton decay detector. No candidates for proton decay into e+π0 are found in the 3300 metric-ton fiducial volume during this exposure of 720 ton-years, setting a 90% C.L. limit of 6.5 x 1031 year for proton lifetime/branching ratio for this mode
