RNDAS, a data acquisition system for a radionuclides laboratory

  • 1. CEC-JRC Central Bureau for Nuclear Measurements, Geel (Belgium)

Description

The concept and realization of a computer system for the automation and data processing of results of measurements in a radionuclide metrology laboratory is described. It consists of personal computers for data acquisition connected to a VAX-3500 computer via an Ethernet based local area network. A uniform, flexible data structure facilitates the access to variety of data types. (orig.)
