Developing the algorithm and code for calculating an interchaniel iistability of steam generating channels
Description
The algorithm for calculating parameters of a two-phase flow and temperature field of the steam generating channel under dynamic conditions with account for supercritical zone is described. Application of the algorithm permits without essential count time increase to avoid numerical instability appearing in calculations owing to uncertainty of boundary location of the crisis (in the crisis area the heat transfer coefficient varies almost by two orders) between calculation points. The validity of the substitution of differential equation of heat conductivity of the wall for heat balance equation at temperature field calculations in the crisis area is shown. It is concluded that the lack of the wall dynamics account in the supercritical zone may lead to substantial error at calculation of flow parameters at the channel outlet
