2021 40th International Conference of the Chilean Computer Science Society (SCCC)

These proceedings contain the papers presented at the 40th International Conference of the Chilean Computer Science Society (SCCC 2021). The conference was held in La Serena, Chile, on November 15-19, 2021, and was hosted by Universidad de La Serena. There were 124 submitted papers, each of them was reviewed by 3 experts appointed by the program chairs. In all, 62 (50%) papers were accepted for presentation at the conference. The affiliation of the authors of accepted papers illustrates the international nature of the conference, with authors from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, France, Peru, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom, United States and Uruguay. Topics of the papers are highly diverse, including databases, software engineering, Artificial intelligence, Computer games and educative software, among others.
