The clean-up of fusion reactor waste gases: a study of the effects of impurities on silver-palladium

Description
The use of a palladium-alloy membrane for the purification of fusion reactor feed gas is discussed. Hydrogen isotopes are separated from impurities in the exhaust by diffusion of the gas through the membrane. The temperature limits within which the operation is feasible are 475-650K. (U.K.)
