Description
The optical absorption spectrum of the solvated electron in 1-propanol and its decay at various temperatures following a pulse of electrons have been studied, and the relative yields of geminate and free solvated electrons have been obtained. From these, the absolute yields have been estimated over the temperature range 150--298 K
