Hemic variations in radiotherapic treatments

Description

The hemic variations of the different leucocytic populations have been studied by counting and identification of 30000 elements with Hemalog D, on 30 patients submitted to a Roentgen therapy. The comparison of the average of each strain before treatment and one at four weeks after irradiation enabled us to note a clear outright depopulation of the lymphocytes and the basophiles. The total number of leucocytes imperfectly reflects the variations of the different populations or the disappearance of a hemic strain

Abstract (French)

Les variations sanguines des differentes populations leucocytaires ont ete etudiees par comptage et identification de 30000 elements a l'Hemalog D sur 30 malades soumis a une radiotherapie. La comparaison des moyennes de chaque lignee avant traitement et une a quatre semaines apres irradiation nous a permis d'observer une nette depopulation des lymphocytes et des basophiles. Le nombre total des globules blancs reflete mal les variations des diverses populations ou la disparition d'une lignee sanguine
