Non-destructive testing, fracture mechanics and defect tolerances
Description
Defects were found in increasing numbers with further refinements of non-destructive testing techniques. On the other hand, codes and quality standards generally do not tolerate any flat, crack-like discontinuity. Possible solution of this problem is recommended
