Formation of anisotropic structures from fluidized magnetic powders

Description
Magnetic and adhesive flocculation of line-dispersed powder particles causes partial locking of magnetic flux of particles and deterioration of magnetic properties of powder items. The sign-variable magnetic nonuniform field can induce for the powder the state of electrodynamic pseudoboiling. Calculating the floccula motion in the constant and sign-variable perpendicular magnetic fields it is possible to determine the field parameters of the magnetic floccula failure. The character of the particle motion was experimentally evaluated by the variation of the electromotive force induced in the variable-induction pickup with the cell filled with power. The pickup and the cell were placed in a common interpolar space of two electromagnets. The texture coefficient of items pressed from the preliminary fluidized powder Co6CuSm is 0.30-0.36, which is by 30% higher than the texture coefficient of powdered items without fluidization
