On interaction of macromolecules with the molecules of solvent in the system polyethylene glycol - water
Description
The reflection properties of the diluted water solutions of polyethylene glycols with different molecular mass have been investigated. Equation Lorenz-Lorenz has been used for explanation experimental results and the contributions to the general polarization of both the free molecules of water and the hydrated macromolecules of polymer were considered. The influence of KOH on the solubility of polyethylene glycol was studied by dielectric spectroscopy also
