Description
The nucleus-nucleus fusion is visualized through transmission across asymmetric parabolic effective barrier. The asymmetry in the barrier is controlled by an asymmetry parameter η which varies with incident energy in accordance with the effect of threshold anomaly in the dispersive optical model potentials (OMP) used for the study of heavy ion scattering
