Description
A relativistic plane wave Born approximation is presented and applied to the (e,2e) reaction with the inner and outer shells of heavy elements (Au, Hg and Th). Relativistic effects are shown to be very significant in relation to these states. The status of a relativistic (e,2e) spectrometer is described and experimental difficulties discussed
