Description
Stress classification is a key step when design by analysis. There are some limitations for the current stress classification methods. The author introduces and discusses these methods, and presents an practical applied method that can be easy used for engineering design. A prototype system for stress classification of pressure vessels is built up with java based on the rules of ASME
