An electrospraying technique for coating radioactive sources with silver

Description
A technique has been developed for coating radioactive sources with silver. This technique is used for reducing the counting efficiencies of sources in activity measurements with the 4PI (PC)-γ coincidence method. The advantages of this technique are low electrical resistance (approximately<100Ω) and the wide range of absorber thicknesses that can be applied. (author)
