Methods for separating the intermolecular interaction potential are considered in accordance with the thermodynamic perturbation theory when simulating the properties of binary systems in a wide range of pressures and temperatures. The influence of the version of the perturbation theory on the accuracy of the calculated thermodynamic parameters of binary mixtures is shown
