International Cargese Summer School - Physics at TeV colliders: from Tevatron to LHC - Slides of the presentations

Description

This document gathers the slides of the lectures of this summer school. These lectures were pedagogical reviews of both theoretical and experimental underpinnings of collider physics. There were 14 lectures: 1) Introduction to collider physics; 2) Introduction to Higgs and electroweak precision physics; 3) Introduction to QCD phenomenology at hadron colliders and Monte-Carlo tools for collider physics; 4) Jet physics; 5) What have we learnt from the Tevatron for the LHC; 6) Beyond the Standard Model physics; 7) MadGraph tutorial; 8) Top quark physics; 9) Tools for the new physics; 10) The search for supersymmetry; 11) Flavour physics and CP violation at LHC; 12) Dark matter: model building, direct, indirect and collider signatures; 13) The road to discovery at LHC/data analysis; and 14) Physics case for future accelerators.
