Microscopic nuclear reaction models: building bridges between microscopic theory and nuclear data

Creators

  • 1. CEA, DAM, DIF (France)

Description

Full text: As a former student and long-time collaborator of Eric Bauge, I am honored to discuss the advancements in microscopic reaction models aimed at enhancing the reliability of nuclear data. Eric Bauge' s work has been instrumental in fostering close collaborations between nuclear structure physicists and reaction physicists. His encouragement and guidance have inspired me and many others to pursue these interdisciplinary connections. In this session, I will highlight the numerous collaborations that Eric initiated and developed at CEA/DAM, bringing together international experts in reaction models. These efforts have significantly advanced our understanding and capabilities in the field. Eric's contributions have had a lasting impact on our research community, and this presentation will showcase the critical initiatives he supported.
