Peculiarities of acute radiation disease course in conditions of usage of fractions isolated from white cinquefoil
Description
Radioprotective effect of fractions from White cinquefoil was found by experimental studies. Intestinal and hematologic complexes of symptoms were less revealed in experimental rats with acute radiation disease, total protein level and ratio of proteinic fractions were less disturbed. Separate centres of hematopoiesis remained and their devastation did not occure. Histologic structure of inner organs was less destroyed, centres of myelopoiesis were detected in spleen, spermatogenesis in seminal glands remained partially. Ultrastructure of thyroid gland and, partially, of bone marrow remained. Fraction II showed more revealed effect
