Effects of openings in a fusion reactor blanket (tokamak type)
Description
A report is given on the consequences of the introduction of openings in a fusion reactor blanket (with tokamak physics) on its nuclear characteristics; considered designs cover a wide variety of breeding materials and blanket thicknesses. Numerical calculations confirm the possibility for an analytical extrapolation/interpolation of the nuclear parameters of a blanket in a very wide class of openings in the breeders. (author)
