Description
It is shown that the contribution of intermediate vector mesons to the KL → π0γγ amplitude, intensively discussed in literature in recent years, is close to zero provided that the group SU(3) breaking is taken into account. At the same time, the contribution of intermediate scalar mesons is essential. The obtained estimates for Br(KL → π0γγ) conform with the recent experimental data Br(KL → π0γγ)=(2.1 ± 0.6)x10-6. 23 refs.; 2 figs
