Production method for nuclear fuel pellet
Description
As a method of obtaining dried soft gel particles which are easy to be press molded in a gel particle press molding method, water in the gel particles is sufficiently cleaned and replaced by using an organic solvent such as alcohol which is miscible with water at any ratio, and then the organic solvent such as alcohol used is removed. With such procedures, the particles can be prevented from being solidified into hard glass as in a conventional drying method. Further, press moldability can be improved by humidifying the dried gel particles again after the heat treatment. (T.M.)
