Examples of four-dimensional soliton solutions and abnormal nuclear states
Description
In quantum mechanics, the quantum soliton solution 1) has a finite and nonzero mass (expressed in terms of the usual renormalized quantities), which reduces asymptotically to the classical expression when the appropriately defined nonlinear coupling constant g is sufficiently small, and 2) has a spatial extension that gives rise to 'soft' form factors (i.e., goes to zero at large momentum-transfer). Some examples of four-dimensional quantum soliton solutions are given. (Auth.)
