Annealing methods for improving performance of a radiation sensor

Description
A scintillation member, such as of thallium-doped cesium iodide and the like, is used with a photodetector to form a radiationresponsive sensor. The scintillation member is annealed by heating followed by slow cooling to decrease the hysteresis response of the sensor
