CdI2-Cd crystal photosensitivity

Description

The spectral sensitivity of photoelectric state (SS PES) of iodine cadmium crystals with controlled deviation from the stoichiometric state in the side of metal cadmium increase (Cdi) is investigated. In CdI2-Cd system are found anomalous concentration and temperature dependences of the impurity SS PES. They are explained within the framework of the model, accounting for variations of the character of interaction of stoichiometric atoms Cdi with iodine lattice atoms. 7 refs
