On the optical properties and electronic structure of solid solutions of (Agsub(x/2)Pbsub(1-x)Sbsub(x/2))Te type
Description
The reflectance spectra in the energy range 0.4 to 4.0 eV at 300 K and thermoreflectance spectra in the energy range 1.0 to 4.0 eV at 70 and 240 K of solid solutions of (Agsub(x/2)Pbsub(1-x)Sbsub(x/2))Te type for x = 0.2, 0.4, and 0.6 are obtained. On the basis of these measurements some conclusions about the change of the electronic band structure with the composition on going from PbTe to the AgSbTe2 zone are given. (author)
