To the theory of the management of the resonance widths
Description
A simple physical explanation is given of the potential transformation which is necessary to increase (decrease) the probability of the decay of the chosen quasi-stationary state when the half-lives of all other states remain unchanged. The arbitrary changes of the resonances widths are provided by the special auxiliary 'carriers' (narrow local attractive wells) which are able to shift separately the chosen states through the potential barrier nearer to its outer end increasing the decay rate. The possibility to manage the form of wave functions for construction of quantum systems with the desired transition rates for the arbitrary chosen discrete spectrum is considered.
