Description
Highlights: • A longitudinal study was conducted to clarify the association between maternal UtAs exposure and birth outcomes. • There was an inverse association between maternal UtAs and fetal development, particularly in fetal BPD. • Dose-response relationships between maternal UtAs and adverse birth outcomes were found. Arsenic exposure is a global health concern. Several studies have focused on chronic arsenic exposure in adults; however, limited data are available regarding the potential adverse effects of prenatal exposure on fetuses and neonates.
