Effective acceleration conditions of microtron

Description
The results of calculations of the second-type acceleration modes in a microtron with an increased resonator thickness are given. One of the calculated modes for the resonator thickness l=1.8, cathode coordinate X0=0.3, ratio of guide magnetic field induction to its cyclotron value Ω=1.8 was studied experimentally. Beam power in an acceleration mode under study was approximately 1.5 times greater than that in a commonly used mode
