Vacuum problem in the Schwinger model
Creators
Description
It is shown that in the Schwinger model a nontrivial topology leads to a physical vacuum with a structure of a cogerent state of the observable fields. This ground state is used to obtain the quark condensates and the Green functions for the currents. Conservation of the cluster property and validity of Wilson expansion in the Schwinger model are discussed
