Industrial medicine is an underdeveloped discipline in the Netherlands. The author surveys the discrepancies between the laws regulating health protection by medical inspection, reporting and evaluation, and the laws concerning these points when work with radioactive materials or apparatuses producing ionising radiations is involved.
