Tunneling spectra in multilayered superconductors with multiple gaps
Creators
Description
We present a systematic way to detect multiple gaps in multilayered superconductors with d-wave order parameter whose amplitude depends on each layer. The tunneling conductance is calculated in the superconductor/insulator/superconductor junction parallel and perpendicular to the layers. It is found that the layers with large amplitude of superconducting order parameter are distinguished from the other ones with small amplitude by comparing the parallel tunneling conductance to the perpendicular one
