Analysis of the impact on reactor vessel level monitoring due to boron concentration and non-condensable gas
- 1. China Nuclear Power Engineering Company, Ltd., Shenzhen (China)
Description
The impact on Reactor vessel level monitoring of CCMS (Core Cooling and Monitoring System) due to boron concentration and non-condensable gas is analyzed, the result shows that the error induced by boron concentration at 2000 ppm can be ignored, the error induced by boron concentration at 40000 ppm will reach 13%. Under the extreme condition of the Reactor vessel full of non-condensable gas, the error induced will not exceed 2%. These errors will not hinder the implementation of safety related actions in accident management. (authors)
