Description
The long term stability of ionization yield in liquid tetramethylsilane (TMS) has been studied with a parallel plate ionization chamber. The collected charge due to conversion electrons from a 207Bi source was almost constant over one year if TMS was purified several times and the chamber was baked out well. (orig.)
