Description
In 1992 and 1993, Mitsubishi Electric designed and produced a negative hydrogen-ion source for use with proton-beam equipment. Testing showed a maximum current of 20mA, and specific emittance of 1.6-1.9πmm. mrad with 8-13mA beam current, which are well above the performance targets. (author)
