Description

The paper deals with the application of radiotracer method to the investigation of electrosorption phenomena. The advantages of the method are demonstrated through examples referring to the study of electrosorption processes of labelled ions and organic compounds at platinized platinum electrodes. The use of radiotracers - 14C, 36Cl, 32S, etc. -in conjunction with electrochemical measurements permits the study of some subtle details of the adsorption processes
