Study of one-nucleon transfer reactions with polarized deuterons of 20 MeV

Description

In this thesis the results of the study of (d vector,p), (d vector,t), and (d vector,3He) reactions at Esub(d)approx.=20 MeV on the target nuclei 16O, 18O, 28Si, 36Ar, 40Ca, 48Ca, 54Cr, 65Cu, 90Zr, 144Sm, and 208Pb in the framework of a DWBA analysis are presented. The collection of the results of the analysis over this wide mass range shall permit a survey, how well the conventional DWBA describes the measured angular distributions of dsigma/dΩ(theta) and iT11(theta). Furthermore in justified cases the contribution of higher order processes (inelastic transfer) are studied by means of a CCBA analysis. The spectroscopical possibilities given by the measurement of the analyzing power iT11 (theta) are presented in detail on the example of the reaction 144Sm (d vector,p) 145Sm. The analysis of the tensor analyzing power T21(theta) in the framework of a finite range DWBA in the last part of the thesis permits quantitative statements about the D state amplitude in the relative wave function of the deuteron, the triton, and of 3He. Abstract (German)

In dieser Arbeit werden die Ergebnisse der Untersuchung von (d vector,p)-, (d vector,t)- und (d vector,3He)-Reaktionen bei Esub(d)approx.=20 MeV an den Targetkernen 16O, 18O, 28Si, 36Ar, 40Ca, 48Ca, 54Cr, 65Cu, 90Zr, 144Sm und 208Pb im Rahmen einer DWBA-Analyse vorgestellt. Die Zusammenstellung der Analyseergebnisse ueber diesen weiten Massenbereich soll einen Ueberblick darueber ermoeglichen, wie gut die konventionelle DWBA die gemessenen Winkelverteilungen von dsigma/dΩ (theta) und iT11 (theta) beschreibt. Darueber hinausgehend wird in begruendeten Faellen der Beitrag von Prozessen hoeherer Ordnung (inelastischer Transfer) mittels einer CCBA-Analyse untersucht. Die durch die Messung der Analysierstaerke iT11 (theta) gegebenen spektroskopischen Moeglichkeiten werden im Detail am Beispiel der Reaktion 144Sm (d vector,p) 145Sm vorgestellt. Die Analyse der Tensoranalysierstaerke T21 (theta) im Rahmen einer finite range DWBA im letzten Teil der Arbeit ermoeglicht quantitative Aussagen ueber die D-Zustandsamplitude in der Relativwellenfunktion des Deuterons, des Tritons und von 3Helium.
