Synthesis and structural characterization of uranyl thioether Schiff bases and their peroxo derivatives
Description
Two series of uranyl-thioether complexes of the type UO2L.MeOH(III) and UO2L(IV) of pentadentate H2L(I) and hexadentate H2L(II) ONS donor ligands and the peroxo derivatives UO(O2)L(V) and UO(O2)L(VI) have been synthesized. The complexes have been characterized by elemental analyses, IR and thermogravimetric methods. The peroxo contents have been determined by iodometric titration and are found to be thermally stable.
