Local parton-hadron duality, intermittency and fractal structures in QCD cascades

Description

An infrared stable multiplicity measure on QCD parton states is presented, which gives observables directly related to the QCD cascade. This measure makes it possible to separate the fluctuations in the perturbative cascade and in the soft hadronization, which gives a quantitative meaning to local parton-hadron duality. The QCD cascade shows nontrivial scaling properties and multifractal structures related to intermittency
