Achieving low capital cost with CDFR

Description
A modified project of NPP with the CDFR fast reactor is described. As compared with the 1981 project the unit power is increased and a number of design modifications are introduced, which are mainly aimed at increasing safety and compactness and decreasing capital cost. The modified project envisages the cost of serial NPP which will not exceed by more than 10 % the cost of NPP with a thermal reactor
