Difference scheme for solving a two-dimensional transport equation in irregular quadrangle nets

Description

To solve a two-dimensional kinetic equation of particle transport, a conservative difference scheme with triangle difference operation of transport was constructed in irregular quadrangle net. The scheme is investigated from the point of view of approximation accuracy and stability. For calculations in practice a special class of proportional nets or P nets is suggested where the scheme has the second order of accuracy. The scheme is illustrated with numerical calculations; it can be recommended for solving problems with complex gepmetry
