Description
The 8 potential matrix elements are obtained by a simultaneous fit to 40 equations specified by experimental transfer data and single particle energies relative to 40Ca. Their description of the 42Sc and 48Sc spectra and of single particle energies relative to 48Ca is much improved over that of the Kuo-Brown matrix elements from which they differ significantly for J = 1,3.
