The results of experimental studies on slow ionization waves, originating in the gas-discharge instruments of low and medium pressure under the discharge conditions and modes, specific for the plasma current commutators, are presented. The conclusions which may be used for understanding the proceeding physical processes and creation of the fast-action gas-discharge current commutators, are made

Приведены результаты экспериментальных исследований медленных волн ионизации, возникающих в газоразрядных приборах низкого и среднего давления при разрядных условиях и режимах, характерных для плазменных коммутаторов тока. Обсуждаются результаты исследований. Сформулированы выводы, которые могут быть использованы для понимания протекающих физических процессов и создания быстродействующих коммутаторов тока
