Features of a field of a superlight radiation sources moving on along a segment of straight line

Description

The effect of the current pulse motion with the velocity, exceeding the light velocity and radiation, conditioned by this current are studied in the work. The calculations of the electromagnetic field components are accomplished within the frames of the linear current model. The applied method may be beneficial by studying the directed electromagnetic waves in the nuclear physics detection devices, in particular, for counting the contributions of the secondary electrons to the Vavilov-Cherenkov effect

Abstract (Russian)

В работе изучаются эффект движения импульса тока со скоростью, большей скорости света, и излучение, вызванное этим током. Вычисления компонент электромагнитного поля выполнены в рамках модели линейного тока. Используемый метод может быть полезен при изучении направленных электромагнитных волн в детектирующих устройствах ядерной физики, в частности, для учета вкладов вторичных электронов в эффект Вавилова-Черенкова
