Investigation into phase diagrams of InBr3 - CuBr, InBr3 - HgBr2, InBr3 - CdBr2

Description
The state diagrams of the InBr3-CuBr, InBr3-HgBr2, and InBr3-CdBr2 systems have been studied by differential-thermal analysis with the aid of X-ray phase analysis. No compounds have been found in the system InBr3-CuBr. Eutectic mixture melts at 265 deg C and contains 43 mol.% of CuBr. In the systems InBr3-CdBr2 and InBr3-HgBr2 the formation of solid organic solutions is observed based on the initial components. The data are given of X-ray phase analysis of the alloys of the system. The eutectic point in the system InBr3-CdBr2 corresponds to 372 deg and 45 mol.% of CdBr2. The eutectic point in the system InBr3-HgBr2 corresponds to 93 mol.% HgBr2 and 220 deg C
