Description
The work is aimed at calculating the characteristics of the relativistic electron avalanche (REA) in the air in the presence of the electric field. The calculations are carried out for the parameters, characteristic of the normal breakdown through the electrons with the energies close to the threshold of the air ionization molecules. The dependence on the electric field intensity, specific for the REA amplification time, is obtained

Цель работы - рассчитать характеристики лавины релятивистских электронов (ЛРЭ) в воздухе при наличии электрического поля. Расчеты проведены для параметров, характерных для обычного пробоя электронами с энергиями вблизи порога ионизации молекул воздуха.
