Estimate of the scaling constant in e+e- annihilation and pion radius

Description
The well known scaling constant R in electron-positron annihilation has been correlated with the pion radius. Theoretical estimates of R in the context of the statistical model has been made and a reasonable agreement with the conventional quark model predictions and with the experimental data has been obtained
